A stronger, better Messy Jiverson reunites

Things have gotten a lot less messy in the world of St. Louis instrumental band Messy Jiverson. The group broke up in 2011, a quick end to a band that had formed in 2007. But the fellows are back on the scene with a reunion concert presented Wednesday night by Loyal Family at 2720 Cherokee. "We've all gotten to a good spot," says Messy Jiverson guitarist Mikey Wehling of he and band mates John Carpenter (bass), Nate Carpenter (Hammond B3 organ, synthesizers), Cannon DeWeese (drums), Gavin Duffy (guitar), Matt Keune (faders) and LeClare Stevenson (Wurlitzer, synthesizers).
