New Delhi: The Supreme Court will on Monday hear a contempt petition against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her comments against the judiciary more than a month ago when she had claimed that the judgments of the judiciary can be bought. Mamata had made the comments in the state Assembly and said that she was ready to go to jail for the same. "At times favourable verdicts are given in return for money. These days, judgements are purchased. There is corruption among a section of the judiciary. I know there can be a defamation suit against me for saying this.
