Nationally known craft and housewares chain Hobby Lobby will be pressing for exemption from the Obamacare health program based on the program's contraception and abortifacient requirements. In a letter released on November 29, Hobby Lobby's CEO David Green cited the program's requirements as running afoul of the company's and its owners' faith and beliefs which have been imbued in the company's procedures, joining other organizations seeking exemptions. Hobby Lobby was founded in 1970 and operates more than 500 stores in 31 states across the country - so it has way more than the 50 employees required to adhere to the Obamacare program.
