LONDON—Believe it or not, the United States had a chance Saturday night to beat Usain Bolt. All it needed was for him to refuse to give up a souvenir. It was the yellow baton that had just gone around the track faster than any baton in history. Bolt wanted to keep it, but a persnickety official demanded it back. Usain Bolt moves so quickly on the track, just ask his competitors. (AP Photo) "It was kind of weird," Bolt said. "He said if I didn't give it back, I'd be disqualified." Unfortunately for the U.S., Bolt gave up the baton. Though maybe I shouldn't say unfortunately. That implies disappointment, which implies people actually believed Jamaica could be beaten in the 400-meter relay....
