WASHINGTON (AP) — Ann Romney says she had a "real scare" from a "little bitty" flare up of her multiple sclerosis during the campaign. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. The wife of the Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, was diagnosed in 1998. Her condition has been in remission since she received a year of aggressive treatments. But flare ups can occur under constant stress — the kind a national political campaign can create. Ann Romney did not say when the flare up occurred or give additional details. She made the disclosure on NBC's "Nightly News" Thursday....
