Last February, while on a recon mission to the Padres spring training camp, Rymer Liriano was asked about his terrible start at Single-A Lake Elsinore at the start of the 2011 season. In 15 games with the Storm, Liriano, who was 19 at the time, went 8-for-25. That's a .127 average.
