Louisville beats rival Kentucky
Dec 30th 2012, 09:08

Russ Smith scored 21 points and Chane Behanan had 20 and No. 4 Louisville ended a four-game losing streak against rival Kentucky with an up-and-down 80-77 victory on Saturday in Louisville, Ky. Peyton Siva added 19 points as the Cardinals (12-1) won a hard-fought Battle of the Bluegrass. Sir Chris Hoy: I knew I had to do something special to win sixth gold medal
Dec 30th 2012, 09:10

Whether it was happy circumstance or shrewd planning – you suspect the latter so sure-footed were the London 2012 organisers – the final race at the Olympic track meeting at the London Velodrome could not have been more dramatic or emotional.
