Daniels was still bothered by lower back spasms that had first cropped up early in Tuesday night's loss to NC State and had his status somewhat questionable for Friday's bout with Harvard. Fortunately for UConn, Daniels played through the pain, carrying the Huskies on his balky back through the first portion of the game.
