(Radius / TWC) Any time somebody bets on a sure thing in a movie, you know the only sure thing is something will go wrong. And so it goes in "Pusher," which doesn't even bother to make the sure thing seem very sure. It's merely a set-up for much sweating and violence and gun-waving. This is an English-language remake of a 1996 Danish film made by Nicolas Winding Refn ("Drive"), and it probably seemed quite tough and gritty back then.
