(Source: Government of the Russian Federation) Following the meeting on improving the quality of life for elderly people held on December 18, 2012 the following instructions were issued: 1. The Ministry of Healthcare, together with the executive bodies of the regions of the Russian Federation, is to take additional measures to improve the quality and availability of medical care for elderly people, paying special attention to the training of doctors and nurses in gerontology.
