TAMPA -- Ever since he started playing football as a little kid, Jordan Sherit heard coaches tell him time and again "Never take anything for granted and play every down like it's your last.'' Sherit says he always understood the point those coaches were trying to get across, but it was driven home like never before Monday night when he learned the knee he first thought was just badly bruised actually had suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and his senior season at Hillsborough High was over.
