Dubai: Dubai's highest court has commuted the death sentence for a worker accused of battering his boss with a hammer eight times and stabbing him 30 times over Dh45,000 unpaid salaries. The Dubai Cassation Court ordered a retrial for the 35-year-old Indian defendant, N.K., who was earlier convicted of planning the murder of his countryman boss, S.R., battering his head with a hammer and stabbing him with a kitchen knife.
