"Did you see the girl in the Leia Slave Girl outfit?" one guy asked to the man dressed as Darth Vader. "She's my girlfriend," Vader replied. "She keeps telling people she has daddy issues." Where else but a comic convention would you see such an exchange? Where else would you see multiple people dressed as Barf from Space Balls? When wandering around the convention floor of Dallas Comic Con Fan Days at the Irving Convention Center, I saw more than just Batman and Spider-Man. In fact, I probably saw a much larger representation of more niche areas...
