Bryant's wrestling coach has been stripped of his duties because of inflammatory comments attributed to him in a Queens Sports article after his team suffered a controversial loss on Jan. 17. Peter Maliarakis, a fifth-year coach, was fired as wrestling coach and also lost his post as girls soccer coach at the Astoria high school.
