MANILA, Philippines (AP) — Philippine police say robbers broke into one of the world's largest shopping malls and fired shots to spark panic among shoppers and cover their escape after taking jewelry from a shop. Police Senior Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen says no one was injured in the daring late Saturday robbery at the SM Megamall in a suburb of the capital, Manila. Investigators were trying to identify two of the robbers, whose faces were caught on security cameras.
