Dear Sports Dad, I am the coach for my son's rec league basketball team. Let me preface this story by telling you I meet with all the parents before we even start practicing, and I ask them if there is anything I should know about their child to help me coach them, and give them a better experience, to please contact me. None of the parents told me anything that was unique to their kid. Well, wouldn't you know, one of the kids, who I did not know...
