Worse, she realizes she is bumping the ceiling of normal life expectancy for her ailment. Yet David Lindsay Abaire's darkly quirky comedy, making its Houston premiere at Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company, doesn't allow the heroine to brood on her condition. She's too busy struggling to bring some sanity to her severely dysfunctional family. Mother Pattie is a constantly complaining hypochondriac, hands and wrists bandaged for Carpal...
