Worse, she realizes she is bumping the ceiling of normal life expectancy for her ailment. Yet David Lindsay Abaire's darkly quirky comedy, making its Houston premiere at Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company, doesn't allow the heroine to brood on her condition.
