Today in federal politics: The Gillard Government opened today with legislation for the Gonski education reforms and the Act of Recognition for the first Australians. Victorian Labor backbencher Steve Gibbons muddied the positive opening with a Tweet declaring the Liberals were led by a gutless douchebag and a narcissistic bimbo who aren't fit to be MPs let along PM and deputy.
