Dubai: The Ministry of Economy has awarded etisalat a Dh6 million contract to implement e-Government services for its internal operations and public services. The move is part of a wider framework of a federal plan fully adopt e-Government. Other establishments in the country are already on board. The agreement was signed yesterday by the Minister of Economy, Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, and etisalat Chief Operating Officer, Ahmad Abdul Karim Julfar. Shaikha Lubna said the ministry aims to expand its activities to interact with local, regional and international economic societies as well as to reflect its real image internationally.
