BERLIN - The German government says Chancellor Angela Merkel and Italian Premier Mario Monti have agreed they will do everything to protect the eurozone, and Monti will visit Berlin next month. Government spokesman Georg Streiter said Merkel spoke by phone with Monti Saturday. That conversation came after Merkel spoke with French President Francois Hollande Friday.
