Staff Denver Business Journal Former Denver Broncos quarterback Jeff Lewis died Saturday in Phoenix at the age of 39, The Associated Press reports. Lewis, who played in five games for the Broncos in 1996-1998, was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXXII. He went on to play for the Carolina Panthers in 1999-2000. The cause of death wasn't disclosed. Lewis was an assistant coach at Northern Arizona University. Lewis, who played for the school from 1992-1995, was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2003.
