African Barrick Gold slumps 20% after collapse of Chinese stake sale talks

Discussions between parent company and China National Gold end after nearly six months Not a bright day for a couple of gold miners. AngloGold Ashanti has lost its chief executive to Anglo American while African Barrick Gold has slumped more than 20% after takeover talks fell apart. In August, parent company Barrick Gold Corporation said it was in talks with China National Gold Group about a sale of its 73.9% stake in African Barrick. Now Barrick has said the discussions have ended....
